Nestled in the sprawling 60-acre Education City, GD Goenka High School stands as a hallmark of educational excellence, continuing our rich legacy of three decades. Our meticulously crafted infrastructure is designed to foster holistic growth, offering state-of-the-art facilities that create a conducive atmosphere for learning, sports, creativity, and personal development.

Campus Overview:

The campus comprises nine buildings within the Education City, featuring the High School, our IB World School, Hostels,l and the GD Goenka University from where PhD faculty also interact with and mentor high school students. Fully air-conditioned with 24/7 power backup and security, the campus features extensive playing fields, charming gardens, and tree-lined pathways, ensuring easy accessibility to all facilities.

Learning Rooms

The faculty members use every technology tool at their disposal to foster a rich and varied learning environment in the learning rooms. This includes star digital boards, audiovisual systems, the Internet, and educational CDs. Every learning room also has a public address system, clocks, display and writing boards, custom made imported furniture and air conditioning.

Biology Lab

Our Biology Laboratory

They are passionate about nurturing the next generation of biologists. Hands-On LearningMicroscopy: Students have the opportunity to explore the microcosm using advanced microscopes. Chemistry Lab

GD Goenka School is proud to have a well-equipped Chemistry Laboratory that provides students with excellent opportunities for hands-on learning and practical application of theoretical concepts. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, chemicals, and safety gear, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for conducting experiments.

Composite Lab

The Composite Lab at GD Goenka High School is a state-of-the-art facility that caters to the needs of students in the fields of science and technology. Equipped with cutting-edge equipment and resources, this lab provides students with hands-on experience and opportunities to develop their skills in the field of composites.

Math Lab

Under the guidance of experienced math teachers, the Math Lab serves as a hub for collaborative learning sessions, where students can brainstorm ideas, work on projects together, and receive personalized support. Through its innovative approach to teaching mathematics, the Math Lab at GD Goenka High School helps students not only understand mathematical concepts but also fosters critical thinking abilities essential for future success in related fields.

ICT Lab

The school has a computer laboratory with Broadband Internet connection and sophisticated multimedia facilities and resources. Equipped with the latest hardware and software, our computer laboratories provide an excellent ambience and opportunity to learn and master ICT skills from the basic to the advanced levels.

Library

The school has a well-resourced library with books, periodicals and a variety of other resources that can be used for research, reference and new learning. Reading is encouraged in students from a very young age, as an independent way to learn and gain knowledge. For reading pleasure there is a wide range of fiction for all age groups and reading abilities right from age 3 to 18. Library is also used for literature promotion and language support. Primary classes come to the library once a week for storytelling and a range of activities centered on literature appreciation and information literacy. In addition, students have access to periodicals, audio-visual resources, Internet facilities etc. The library also supports the archiving of the school's various learning resources and records.

Fine Arts and Music Studios

Art, craft and music studios encourage students to develop a variety of interests. Special emphasis is placed on developing students' appreciation for and involvement in various forms of drama, dance, music, art and craft as a means of self-expression and cultural enrichment. The Music Studio is equipped with a wide range of traditional and modern musical instruments providing children with a variety of learning experiences in music

Books and Stationery Store

The school has outsourced a books & stationery store to ensure students have access to all material available in the market. Open five days a week for the duration of school hours, it caters to the needs of the children who can replenish their stationery or buy books as the need arises.

School Cafeteria

The Refectorio (dining-hall) is a centrally air-conditioned double-storeyed building, spread over 13,000 sq. ft. with a seating capacity for approximately 1000 students. The School Cafeteria conforming to the highest standards of modern catering serves balanced and nutritious snacks, lunch and dinner. Special care is taken to provide students with options that are healthy, nutritious and balanced. Hygiene and strict quality control of food are a priority. Filtered drinking water is available throughout the day on each floor of the school.

Medicare Centre

The school places great importance on the health and safety of students. Suitably qualified nursing staff keeps the medical centre open throughout the school day, while the panel of doctors is available on call for any emergency. In its modern and child-friendly setting, the medical centre maintains high standards of hygiene and a well-documented system of students' health records. The medical staff arranges for routine medical treatment as well as health promotion activities such as an annual check-up, and dental and ophthalmologic camps.

The School also has a Special Education Cell catering to remedial education, vocational guidance, speech therapy and occupational therapy etc.

Facilities for CWSN

GD Goenka High School recognizes the importance of inclusivity and accessibility for all students, including children with special needs. With a firm commitment to creating an environment that caters to the diverse needs of its student body, the school has ensured that its lavatory facilities are designed in a manner that accommodates these exceptional individuals. Equipped with wheelchair-accessible toilets, handrails, and wider doorways, GD Goenka provides a safe and comfortable space where children with special needs can attend to their personal hygiene independently and with dignity. Additionally, trained staff members are available to provide any necessary assistance or guidance if required.

School Transport

The need for safe passage of each child to school and back home is of paramount importance to us. To ensure safe travel, the school has its own fleet of school buses designed as per standards and manned by trained drivers and personnel sensitized to the needs of small children. The Transport Service (optional) is operated by the school and a separate transport fee is charged for this. For supervision and monitoring, a transport attendant is on board along with a nanny and a teacher in charge throughout the journey.

Mobile phones have been provided in each bus that ensures efficiency in terms of service and better communication in case of emergencies. Besides ensuring the implementation of the safety norms, all staff on the bus is well trained in first aid and emergency management.
