Thrive. For life.
At GD Goenka High School, the House System plays a vital role in nurturing teamwork, leadership, and a spirit of healthy competition among students.
The school is divided into four houses- Patel, Bose, Savarkar, and Tilak, each named after distinguished national leaders whose lives exemplify courage, integrity, and service to the nation.
Each house functions under the guidance of a House Mistress and is supported by House Prefects, who mentor students and promote discipline, responsibility, and collaboration.
Throughout the academic year, students earn points for their houses through academic excellence, sports, cultural activities, and displays of exemplary conduct. At the end of the academic year, the house that accumulates the highest number of points is awarded the House Trophy
The House System encourages students to work collectively, develop leadership skills, and uphold core values such as discipline, perseverance, unity, patriotism, and respect for others. It instils a sense of belonging and pride while motivating students to give their best in every endeavour.
Through this system, GD Goenka High School aims to shape confident, responsible, and value-driven individuals who are prepared to contribute positively to society.
