Thrive. For life.
At GD Goenka High School, conscientious living
is not merely a value we preach, but a way of life we practise. We strive to nurture socially responsible and environmentally conscious citizens by integrating sustainable practices and community service into our everyday school culture. Through our Environmental and Community Initiatives, students learn to care for the planet and contribute meaningfully to society.

By embracing eco-friendly transport, renewable energy use, and responsible waste management, our campus actively reflects sustainable living in action, encouraging students to grow into environmentally responsible citizens.
Our school proudly participated in the Green School Project by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), Government of India, reflecting our strong commitment to sustainable development. From CNG-powered and electric buses and Solar PV rooftop systems to rainwater harvesting, recycled wastewater, and an efficient drip irrigation system, our campus practises responsible resource management. Student involvement in the kitchen garden, along with waste segregation and recycling, further reinforces our culture of conscious and eco-friendly living.

Students actively participate in sustainable living activities integrated into the curriculum and lead various environmental awareness drives, fostering a strong sense of responsibility towards nature and promoting eco-conscious habits within and beyond the school community.
The Changemakers Club
The Changemakers Club empowers students to become compassionate leaders who actively contribute to society. Through meaningful initiatives, our young changemakers spread kindness, support their community, and champion important causes.
Our students honour the dedication of support staff by creating heartfelt cards on Labour Day, bring joy to senior citizens through visits and donation drives at old age homes, and promote environmental conservation through afforestation drives on World Population Day. The club also raises awareness by celebrating World Mental Health Day, World Kindness Day, and World Lake Day with engaging activities and campaigns.
In collaboration with the Rotary Club, our dedicated volunteers extend their impact through community service projects, learning the value of giving back while making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
